Abstract

365,295. Loose-leaf binders. WOLFSKEHL, E. SIMON-, 21, Beethovenstrasse, Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Dec. 31, 1930, No. 39337. [Class 146 (i).] In a loose-leaf binder of the type having flexible filing prongs a, arched-shaped members bare slidably and pivotally mounted on one of the covers so that they can be brought into engagement with the ends of the prongs a for facilitating the manipulation of the sheets or can be laid flat against the cover when not in use. The edges of the prongs a are bent towards one another near their points to accommodate the free ends of the members b, the points however being retained for piercing unperforated sheets. A plate c fixed to one cover opposite to the prongs a is provided with beaded ends d forming bearings for pivot pins e on the members b, the pins being sufficiently long to allow the members b to move clear of the prongs a so that they may be folded down on the cover and held by a catch f. The pins e may be bent away from the arched parts of the members b, thus necessitating the fixing of the plate c in a different position on the cover.
