Abstract

362,382. Ladders. WILLCOCKS, W. W., 48, Camden Road, London. Sept. 2, 1930, No. 26146. [Class 20 (ii).] A ladder rung, adapted to replace a broken wooden rung of an existing ladder, is of a telescopic construction. As shown, the rung comprises inner and outer steel tubes A, B, having metal tapered ends C secured thereto. The ends C are formed with ridges D to prevent rotation of the tubes when fixed in the sides of the ladder by screws E. The outer tube B may be knurled to prevent slipping. Specification 4018/10, [Class 20 (ii), Buildings and structures, Miscellaneous accessories &c.], is referred to.
