[Class 52 (v).] A guard, for curtain runners of the kind consisting of loop member g carrying rollers c, consists of a U -shaped member,the sides of which have triangular openings e the apices of which rest on the roller trunnions k. The sides have turned-in extensions which project into the paths of the rollers. The openings e permit the loop g to swing freely through a considerable angle relatively to the guard.
