Abstract

359,213. AttachÚ case &c. handles. HILL, W. J., 4, St. Paul's Square, Birming- ham. Oct. 24, 1930, No. 31942. [Class 133.] An attachÚ case or like handle comprises a leathercovered steel blade a having one or preferably each end slidable within a metal housing c which is itself hingedly connected to the article. The extremity c<1> of the housing is rolled to form a bearing for a hinge-pin e<1> engaging a rolled portion of an attachment plate e. The sliding of the handle end within the housing is controlled by a rivet pin d or other upward projection from the base of the housing engaging a slot a<1> formed in the end of the handle, or by a projection formed on the handle engaging a slot in the housing.
