358,208. Moulding dental crowns. HœSTEN, C., 3, Karolingerring, Cologne, Germanv. Aug. 22, 1930, No. 25180. Convention date, Aug. 22, 1929. [Class 87 (ii).] Dental crowns are moulded by pressing a model a of the crown into moulding material in a mould d the material then setting after which a block n of moulding material on a handle o is forced on to the mould d to produce a core corresponding to the recess in the model. After the block n has hardened, the handle is raised and the model removed, porcelain &c. then being melted in the mould cavity and shaped by the upper block n. An adjustable stop r is provided to limit the downward movement of the handle.
