[Class 81 (ii).] Surgical truss padholders of the kind described in Specification 254,126, [Class 81 (ii), Medical &c. appliances], are modified by (1) bevelling the inner end of the cross slot g as shown at g<1>, Fig. 14, and (2) forming recesses at the inner end of this slot corresponding to the projecting ends of the flange 22 on the core member shown in Fig. 11. These recesses receive the ends of a lateral pin on the cross strap.
