Abstract
357,243. Powder distributers with valved stoppers.. SIEGEL, I., 21, Taborstrasse, Vienna. June 20, 1930, No. 18847. Convention date, June 20, 1929. [Classes 18 and 125 (iii).] A powder distributer with lateral perforations 6, Fig. 2, adapted to be covered by a cap 5 screwed on to the distributer, is provided below the perforations with a ring-shaped shoulder 3 against which the lower rim of the cap presses to form a tight joint. The distributer is screwed, or otherwise attached to, or formed in one with a container for salt, sugar, soap, &c., and the cap may be manipulated with one hand if it is provided with a knob 8, Fig. 4, and the threading on the portion 4<1> is made steep. The distributer top may also be made solid with the perforations 6<1> running obliquely through it. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification wherein the cap engages with the distributer by means of a bayonet joint, and a form, Fig. 5 (Cancelled), wherein the lateral perforations are formed in the cap which can slide and rotate on to the container. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
