[Class 26.] In a superheating device for a vapour bath, steam passes from the water vessel 1 through pipes 7, 9 of thin gauge which are exposed to a source of heat 4, one or more of the pipes being formed with a spiral 11. The pipes are enclosed in a jacket 6 which may carry tubes 14 containing medicinal substances and are provided with closure devices in order to vary the temperature of the steam produced.
