353,483. Omnibuses; tramcars. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., 28, Kingsway, London, and MARKS, W. G., Nevin, Tavistock Drive, Nottingham. Feb. 25 1930, No. 6218. [Classes 103 (iv) and 108 (i).] Double-deck vehicles such as omnibuses and tramcars are provided on the lower deck with an entrance A intermediate of its ends and leading therefrom to the upper deck a staircase B the lower steps of which appear through the entrance from the outside of the vehicle as immediately facing the entrance. A lobby C is formed between the entrance A and the staircase B and the latter may be of various forms. It may be spiral as shown, straight or formed as a double staircase.
