Abstract

352,872. Movable signs. JONES, S. N., 1, Littleton Street, Walsall. Nov. 25, 1930, No. 35414. Addition to 284,852, [Class 3 (i), Advertising and displaying apparatus, Moving &c.]. [Class 3 (i).] The indicator described in the parent Specification is modified by making both bevel wheels 9, 10 fast on the longitudinally slidable actuating spindle 5. The helical cam 12 engages a roller 13 slidably mounted on a rod 14, with springs 16, 16a disposed above and below. One of the wheels 9, 10 is disengaged from, and the other brought into mesh with, its roller-driving bevel wheel 17, 18, according to the direction in which the handle 4 is turned. Gearing may be introduced to bring the handle 4 into a convenient position.
