[Class 89 (i).] A nut lock comprises a slit washer 10 provided with projecting teeth 11, 12 directed to counteract the loosening movement of the nut and teeth 13a, 13b arranged adjacent to the slot 13 to counteract the tightening movement of the nut. The teeth 13a., 13b causes the washer to be drawn towards the bolt gripping its surface. The teeth 11, 12 may be arranged in the inner circumference of the washer.
