Abstract

350,113. Ball bearings. WADE, H., 111, Hatton Garden, London.-(Bassick Co. ; 38, Austin Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut, U.S.A.) April 1, 1930, No. 10364. [Class 12 (i).] A castor is provided with a ball race forming a unit complete in itself and having means whereby it can be fitted to the mounting for the floor-engaging element. Several forms are described wherein either the inner or outer race is in two sections 22, 24, Fig. 6, and the hornpiece 10 or like element is preferably secured to a depending stem 21 on the inner race, while the outer race 18, or a casing enclosing the same, is provided with securing means for a pintle 14 or baseplate 46.
