348,930. Curtains. GOLBY, F. W., 3, John Street, Bedford Row, London.- (Shulman, M. and Roemer, L. S. ; 20, West 22nd Street, New York, U.S.A.) June 23, 1930, No. 19059. [Class 52 (v).] A curtain valance consists of a number of units A each having a stiffened upper edge. In the construction shown a number of units A, formed as festoons by pleating a shaped blank, are arranged to overlap, the stiffened upper edges being inserted downwards between a pair of telescopic supporting bars 9. The stiffening material, e.g. buckram, is covered on both faces by a facing strip and the units may be further secured in position by strips 12 which embrace the front bar and are secured to the units by snap fasteners &c.
