Abstract

347,990. Eyeshades. SOC. L. CRETINBILLET ET FILS, Morez-du-Jura, Jura, France. Aug. 18, 1930, No. 24714. Convention date, Aug. 17, 1929. [Class 97 (i).] A folding eyeshade of the kind provided with an elastic headband and a net is characterized in that the hinges connecting the several parts are resilient. As shown in the Figure, the eyeshade is formed of three parts 1, 2, and 3 hinged together along their juxtaposed rectilinear sides 6-6 and 7-7 by elastic strips or rubber bands 4, 5 secured together by sewing, gumming or otherwise. The eyeshade may thus be folded to a small size and carried in a case of corresponding shape, and on removal therefrom opens automatically.
