Abstract
345,813. Cabinets. BOND, W. W., 37, Wiggington Avenue, Wembley, Middlesex. March 24, 1930, No. 9308. [Class 62 (i).] A gramophone cabinet is constructed in the form of a sideboard, dresser, or the like, having a pair of doors A, B in its front face and with the front part of the interior divided into a number of recesses which partly support a straight amplifying horn T, extending lengthwise the whole internal length of the cabinet, and serve to hide the horn from view when the doors are open. The over-all length of the cabinet is substantially double its width. The turntable, motor or other gramophone apparatus is contained in a recess H extending the full width of the cabinet and covered by a hinged flap D. The recesses J, R, O below the horn may also extend across the cabinet. The mouth of the horn is covered by gauze V held in place by a panel W which is covered by an end door E. Rollers may be mounted on the legs of the cabinet.
