Abstract

344,695. Locking nuts. BRANDT, E., 6, Rue de Rive, Geneva, Switzerland. April 11, 1930, No. 11597. Convention date, May 13, 1929. [Class 89 (i).] A locking device for two adjoining nuts is formed from a rod 1 which passes under the nuts, and the free ends, passing under the arched portion 2 grip the faces or angles of the nuts. The coil portions surrounding the bolts are slightly inclined so that the nut is resiliently held when it is screwed home. In a modification, Fig. 6, the rod is formed so that each arm passes under both nuts.
