[Class 132 (iii).] A toy adapted to be pulled against the wind by a string like a kite or swung in a circle by a string on the end of a stick comprises flexible main and tail planes a, b, arranged as in a glider, which bend upwards under air pressure this action being assisted by propeller-shaped stabilizers i freely mounted on axles h on the wing tips. The main plane comprises a series of wire or steel blade loops covered with sailcloth, the cross members e of the loops serving to brace the plane. The body and tail plane also may have a steel wire frame and the body has an eye f for the attachment of a string. Landing wheels may be fitted. Alternatively the toy may be pressed from thin sheet aluminium in the form of a bird. Another form is described in which the main plane is at the rear of the model.
