[Class 61 (i).] Broom handles are secured to the stock by means of a plate 1 formed with a hole 4 for a fixing screw and with bent up arms 5 clamped to the handle by a sliding ring 8 flanged at 9 for strength and ease of handling. The plate and arms are formed with barbs 2, 7 to bite into the wood.
