Abstract

342,153. One-piece buckle for laces. HAHN, P., 90, M³llerstrasse, Berlin. Feb. 7, 1930, No. 4173. [Class 43.] In lace-fasteners for corsets, footwear and the like, in the form of plates having apertures through which the lace is threaded, the plates have clamping slits, narrower than the thickness of the lace, and gateways opening at an angle into the slits. A plate p has clamping slits b, whereto the laces are introduced by gateways a. In one construction the lace is threaded through apertures c, e, and then into the slit b. The entrance to the gateway may be at the edge of the plate or formed by an aperture in the plate. The plate may be dished and connected to a hinged cover, or be connected to and offset from one of a hinged pair of dished covers.
