[Class 141.] A wing collar is formed adjacent to the usual tabs e with cut-away portions d to provide a distinct gap and definite points d<1> which engage under the knot of the bow or tie and prevent the knot slipping downwards. In a modified construction, the cut-away portions are approximately semicircular in shape, while in a further modification, described in the Provisional Specification, they are triangular.
