[Class 34 (ii).] Moisture is removed from substances in a crystalline dust-like, granular or lumpy form, or in an artificially-shaped condition such as blocks or other shaped masses, by inserting them as resistance in the circuit of a high-frequency electric current. Drying thus commences in the interior simultaneously with the outside. Drying may be assisted by a suitable stream of gas.
