339,913. Lahaussois, R. March 30, 1929, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Pile fabrics.-Hair surfaces, e.g, filter plates for gases, are prepared by coating the surfaces with an adhesive, and causing the hairs to be taken from a support on which they rest in bulk, e.g. a glass plate, and so to adhere by one end to the surface by electrostatic action. A surface with long and loose hairs, or with short hairs close together, or a shaggy surface may thus be obtained.
