Name and number plates; signs, supporting and securing. - In signs formed of electric lamps 4 mounted in any desired formation in a conducting base 1 comprising a plurality of uniformly spaced holders, each holder is formed by cutting tongues 10 from the material of the base and bending them back to hold the lamps resiliently. The electric connection is completed by a metal grid 7, which is mounted on a layer 8 of compressible material such as felt to ensure perfect contact.
