Abstract

335,377. Siegel, C. I. Sept. 30, 1929. Collecting-boxes.-A collecting box for leaflets, &c., comprising a back plate for attachment to a wall and a box portion with two separate compartments, has the box portion hinged at 16 to the back plate 12 with a lock 27 or other fastening means at the upper edge. The upper compartment is normally closed except for a slot 26 or the like while the other compartment 21 is open at the side remote from the back plate and is provided with a spring member 22 to bear on a pile of blank forms therein. The back plate is screwed to the wall, is flanged and provided with vertical angle pieces 14 on its front side, and is made by pressing from sheet metal. Two springs 22 may be provided, and a frame 28 to contain instructions, &c. may be mounted on the box.
