Supporting.-A ceiling rosette 7 is suspended from a hook by an eye-bolt 5, which passes through an aperture in a strap 1, and it is raised into contact with the ceiling by adjusting a nut 6.- In the form shown, the strap 1 is provided on a member 2 carrying the lampholder 3 and the ,eye-bolt and nut are insulated by a bush 8. The member 2 is provided with apertures 4 for screws.
