Abstract

334,280. Jacobs, A. M. June 4, 1929. Guards and perches for birds comprise a galvanized iron rod 6 having limbs 7 spaced between a pole 1 and insulators 4, 5. The rod 6 is clamped to the pole, and the limbs 7 are covered with glass or porcelain tubes 8 which extend upwardly beyond the tops of the insulators. In a modified construction, the iron rod is formed with three limbs carrying insulating tubes to separate three insulators carried in line on a cross-arm.
