Fabrics woven from cocoa fibre yarns, which are subsequently flattened.-Cocoa fibre yarns from which extending fibres have been removed are woven as warps with somewhat thicker cocoa fibre yarns serving as wefts into an open fabric, which after treatment by wetting or evaporation, is pressed between rollers &c., so that the yarns acquire a band form section. The fabrics are used for making bags for packing or transporting granular material. Specification 246,837, [Class 59, Grinding, crushing, &c.], is referred to.
