Abstract

330,741. Santiago, M. C. May 21, 1929. Brackets.-A shelf &c. supporting bracket consists of a length of bar 1 of hollow rectangular &c. section from which short portions of the upper and lower faces are cut away at one end to form parallel lugs 9, 10 to embrace partially the standard 8, to which the bracket is secured by a pin 11. The lugs 9, 10 may be bent at right-angles for attachment to a flat surface. The bar may be cut at an inclination to its longitudinal axis as shown at 2 to enable two brackets to be cut from a single bar without waste. A levelling-screw and an upturned end 13 with or without a fixing-screw to grip the shelf, may be provided.
