Abstract

330,529. Marshall, G. March 8, 1929. Trouser stretchers.- The invention relates to internal trouser stretcher such as the type described in Specification. 237,516, and consists in means for positively closing as well as opening the creasing members by means of wedges. In the construction shown, the inner arms or side mem bers of the wedges 6 engage between the inclined inner edges of stretcher members 1, 2 and rollers 9 or pins carried by the latter. Relative longitudinal movement of the stretcher members is prevented by a pin 13 carried by one stretcher member engaging a transverse slot 12 in the other. In a modification in which solid wedges are used, a pin and slot connection is provided between the wedges and the stretcher members.
