Table games.- In a mimic bomb dropping game which may be adapted for use with coin-freed apparatus, an aeroplane movable horizontally is caused by a player to drop projectiles into holes in a continuously moving band whose motion is substantially transverse to that of the aeroplane. The aeroplane 3 mounted on a tubular arm 4 pivoted at 5 is moved horizontally by the operation of a lever 6 outside the casing 10. Balls falling from the tube 4, either pass through one of the holes 2 in the moving band 1 into a trough 30, after which their passage operates an electrical or mechanical coin freeing device, or fall on the band which conducts them to a funnel 18 and tube 19. To release a ball for play, the pivoted lever 7 is pushed downwards causing the bent lever 24, pivoted at 25, to rise. The sprung pawl 26 presses up the column of balls 20 in the arm 4 forcing one or more past the sprung pawl 28 when they are projected on to the band 1, the pawl 29 retaining the column of balls on release of the lever 7. When coin freed apparatus is used, the insertion of a coin may cause an electric or spring motor to operate the moving target for a definite period, at the same time allowing the arm 7 to be rocked a certain number of times. A ball falling in the trough may during its return to the tube 19 release the coin or a prize.
