Pivoting adjustments for windows comprise a hollow tapering trunnion 5 engaging a conical socket 3 connected thereto by a screw 6 the head of which is located within the tunnion, the. trunnion and socket members having attachment plates 4, 2 respectively and being maintained in close frictional engagement by a spring 12. The ends of the screw are provided with slots 9, 10 for adjustment purposes, and a lock-nut 11 is also provided.
