Toothed wheels.-Laminated gear wheels of the staggered teeth type have spacing-washers 6 of shock-absorbing and oil-resisting material such as highly compressed impregnated cardboard to reduce noise. The toothed plates 5 and washers 6 are clamped between flanges 1, 4, respectively integral with and fitting upon the main non- recessed surface 3 of the hub, by screws 8 engaging recesses in the plates and hub and with their heads flush with the surface of the flange 4.
