Self-driving machines. -In a self-driving motor of the buoyancy type comprising partially collapsable bodies A mounted on a chain 3 at least a portion of which is immersed in liquid. the bodies A are formed of metal cylinders 4 having flexible caps 6 to which weights 5 are attached. Diametrically opposite bodies may be connected by tubes 8. The caps and cylinders of adjacent bodies may be connected.
