Abstract
325,327. Orr, G. A., Wilson, J. I., and Orr, W. R. Dec. 24, 1928. Heating vehicle.-In a heating system for motor vehicles, water is taken from a pipe 1 connecting the engine jacket 2 with the radiator 3, and passes by a pipe 4 to a water jacket 9 surrounding the exhaust pipe 8. The water then passes by a pipe 4a to a heating radiator 5, preferably with vertical tubes between headers, disposed in the vehicle, and returns by pipe 6 to the engine radiator 3. The pipes 4, 4<a> are inclined downward towards the radiator 5 and the pipe 6 is inclined downward away from the radiator 5, to facilitate circulation.
