Gas meters.-In a gas meter according to the parent Specification the diaphragm leathers are secured between rounded clamping members. In the construction shown, the leather 4 is clamped by bolts 10 between a flange 6 on the pan 1 and a ring 7, the flange 6 and ring 7 being provided with rounded surfaces 5, 8. Alternatively the flange 6 may extend inwardly of the pan and be rounded at its inner periphery.
