Abstract
319,519. Flockhart, W. W. Oct. 17, 1928. Cards for displaying.-A show card of the type formed with a display opening in the shape of a garment article, is furnished with a range of materials in the form of a pullthrough strip which backs the display opening. Fig. 1. shows a construction in which the opening is in the form of a pull-over 13 and the front panel is provided with a printed head 10. A range of patterns, connected to form a strip 9, can be exhibited in turn at the opening by pulling the strip through the recess between the front and back cards. The front card is hinged at 11 to facilitate the insertion of the strip. Several openings may be made in the same card to simulate different garments, for example a pull-over and skirt; the same or different strips being used for display at the various openings. The strip may pull-through either vertically or horizontally. The number or other identifying mark of the particular pattern on show may be seen through the hole 17.
