Printing processes.-Paper imitating the grain of wood is prepared by first colouring the paper with the basic colour of the wood, i.e., the colour of the lightest parts, and then printing the grain in an ink of darker shade. The grain is preferably reproduced by photography, and the printing is effected by the intaglio offset process. Specification 169,515 is referred to.
