Abstract

317,759. Rychner, E. Aug. 21, 1928, [Conveniion date]. Massage.-The scalp is rubbed and shampooed with a reservoir device which moistens the scalp without interfering with the adjacent hair. The device comprises a supply pipe 1 which is fitted to a bottle 12. or other container, supplied with cosmetic oils or medicaments. The outer end of the pipe is closed by a threaded plug 6 with perforations 7 leading to a felt pad 8. The pad is partly covered by a hood 9 of metal, horn, or celluloid &c., shaped somewhat like a shuttle with a pointed end for pushing aside the hair on the scalp. In a modification, the pipe 1 may be forked and carry two pads and two hoods.
