Cores, covering by winding.-In a machine for covering wire and other cores with yarn, &c., the flyer comprises a circular carrier a and a number of projections b<1>, b<2>, b<3> of graduated length formed of wire bent upon itself and slightly curved outwardlv at their upper extremities. The limits each projection are inclined to one another so as to form with the carrier base a a triangle. The several projections are preferably formed from a single length of wire.
