Electric circuit arrangements for amplifying sound currents.-A moving-armature pick-up has a plurality of coils, responsive to different frequency ranges, connected to one or more amplifiers and loud-speakers in such a way that the whole frequency range is reproduced. The moving-armature 2 is surrounded by coils 5, 6 connected in circuits 11, 17 comprising respectively variable resistances 7, 13, variable condensers 8, 14 and the primaries of transformers 10, 16 'which feed amplifiers 12, 18 and loudspeakers 19, 20 respectively, the circuits being tuned by the condensers, and their resonance peaks broadened by the resistances. The loudspeakers may respond equally to all frequencies, or to a band of frequencies suited to the input currents, or a single loud-speaker having a double coil unit may replace the two. Alternatively, a single amplifier may be used, fed from a transformer having a plurality of primary windings connected to the pick-up coils.
