Rotary drums; heating fittings.-In vacuum drying-apparatus comprising a rotary or oscillatory drum, the flat, parallel, longitudinally arranged heating elements 4 and the walls of the drum are provided with fins 6, suitably spaced so as to prevent the material to be dried from coming into contact with the heating elements or jacketed wall.
