Abstract

305,721. Scott, A. C. Nov. 11, 1927. Manures.-Hygroscopic crystalline substances, for instance sodium nitrate for use as a fertilizer, are prevented from caking by adding, by trituration or otherwise, a finely divided inert insoluble silicate having a readily sub-divisible, laminated or fibrous texture, such as asbestos. Talc or mica may also be employed.
