304,507. Panzacchi, E. G., Chiozza, D. E., and Rancallo, G. March 7, 1928. Pontoons.-Pontoons are constructed from integral transverse sections 1 and have inner or outer flanges 3 through which rivets or bolts are passed when the pontoon is assembled. Packing may be placed between the abutting flanges, and, where a double skin is required, transverse supports 4 on the bulkheads 7 are extended outwards from the flanges to support the outer skin.
