Vehicle lamps, directing.-The headlamps A of a motor vehicle are pivoted in forked brackets B and connected by a spindle D carrying an arm E pivoted to a rod F secured to the core G of an electromagnet H controlled by a switch placed conveniently to the driver so that the lamps are dipped when the electromagnet is energized. The end of the core G engages the cover K under the action of a spring J to hold the lamps in the normal position. The rod F may be formed in two parts connected telescopically for adjusting the length.
