Linear - dimension gauges. - An alignment gauge for the front wheels of motor-cars comprises a rod a bent at both ends b at which feeling arms c are mounted to extend at an angle from the plane of the bent ends, one arm at least being adjustably mounted on the rod and provided with a scale d. The rod a mav be formed from iron tube and may be in two telescoping parts adapted to be secured in any position.
