Abstract

302,451. Shanks, E. Oct. 26, 1927. Sleeves; coats.-To increase the freedom of movement of the wearer of sleeved garments, the scye portion 2, Fig. 1. is cut deeper than the form generally adopted and shown at dotted lines at 2<a>, a corresponding alteration being also effected in the seye part of the under portion 3, Fig. 3, of the sleeve. Instead of the under portion of the sleeve terminating at the dotted line 3<a> it is continued with an added portion 4. The rear portion of the part 3, which in ordinary practice is almost identical in shape with the edge 5<b>, Fig. 4, of the upper portion 5 of the sleeve, is cut on a curve gradually receding from the curve corresponding to the edge 5<b>.
