Abstract

Casting and moulding confectionery. - Multiple moulds for chocolate, comprising a number of twopart moulds connected by a hinge, are formed as separate moulds instead of being formed in common sheets of metal, thus ensuring that the width of the meeting edges of the mould parts is reduced to a minimum. Figs. 6 and 7 show three such moulds connected to a common hinge c, each mould forming a separate box or recess c<1>, c<11> with narrow meeting edges x. Fig. 8 shows a modification in which the meeting edges x are, furnished with narrow flanges. The adoption of this construction reduces the fin to a minimum and avoids the necessity for subsequent treatment of the moulded article for removal of same.
