Abstract

296,382. Ogilvie, W. April 27, 1927. Dental engines.-A cover to prevent access of saliva to a dental handpiece and thus to eliminate the necessity for sterilization consists of a onepiece tubular sheath A of thin metal celluloid, or waterproof paper, fitting closely on the handpiece B and formed with an aperture C through which a drill D may be inserted into the handpiece. To more securely hold the sheath in place it may be formed with an angle slot E engaging the usual stud F on the handpiece. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4331/01, 22967/10, 2911/13, and 163,146.
