Coke ovens. - A coke-oven door comprises an open framework of iron angle-bars 1 - - 4 braced together by flat plates 5, 6, the edges of the inwardly-projecting welbs being lipped over to provide an abutment which serves to retain firebricks 13 of ordinary construction. The angle-bars are preferably formed from a single length which is notched at the parts forming the corners, and bent into rectangular form. A central T-bar 7 is arranged between the top and bottom plates. Two outer cover plates 11, 12 are secured on the outside of the door.
