Abstract

295,468. Barbieri, A. June 10, 1927 Pianofortes combined with percussion instruments; instruments with sonorous bars; drums.-A pianoforte keyboard 3 operates a xylophone 5 by electrical contacts 4 and solenoids 12. A motor-driven rotary switch 16 causes the notes to be " killed." Pedals 17 operate a side drum 7 and bass drum 10, the solenoids for the side drum being connected through the rotary switch 16. A cam-switch 25 disconnects the " drill " instruments. Other percussion instruments may be added.
